I did a head and shoulders cast yesterday and had a bit of an issue with the baldcap. I ran a single section alginate with a two piece bandage case. I split the alginate up the back and started peeling it off but it was as though it has bonded to the latex of the cap. It was possible to peel it away at the back but as the front jacket was bonded to the alginate it was much harder to separate there. Is there a step I could implement to stop this happening in future?
