I tried this technique on a small piece I just did--I am extremely happy with the results so far. You have to apply a lot of coats but the finish is great. It has some depth to it that you really cant seem to get using other finishes. Still not completley done yet as it isnt beading up, but Im anxious to see how much better it can look!
