Oliver, very interesting. I am curious as to how long it takes you to do a torso casting, front or back from top of neck down to mid thighs, including biceps, and around the sides to the supporting structure. I would like to know the time from when you begin mixing the alginate until you remove the mold from the model.
I happen to own one of wax melting pots made to heat wax for application on skin to alleviate pain which would be ideal for melting the wax for this application because it is designed not to get hot enough to burn someone.
