Topic Subject : Re: Parvins Locators

Well, I did a 3 piece mold with this the mold itself turne dout alright, however there are some things to be aware of-- You need to make sure tha the locators are in 2 of the pieces so you can locate them back correctly. Also you should probably put some kind of fastener to securely hold the mold sections in thre right place. Also, MEASURE the size of the original piece and double check this dimension when you are creating the new one.
As I said, this worked great, however it was a bit difficult to hold the mold sections together, so I used clamps which worked alright, and because I did NOT measure, it looked like the model had added 10-20 lbs because the mold spread outward as I didnt secure it in place securely.
Always learning here.
