William, I will see if I have any pewter powder in my studio, I think I do, and try to cast something today. I am in the middle of a workshop and have some time constraints until the weekend. I will report back this evening.
I have had a couple of small figures cast in pewter and will try to and will ay more about that later as well.
As for "Wikky;" the "fan" is about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch thick. But remember, as shown was plaster only. The finished piece will be in Forton MG and I plan on a Raku fired version as well. The Forton MG ones will be between 1/4 and 1/2 inches thick or about a centimeter. The Raku about 1/4 inch.
