Topic Subject : Copying a finished cast? |
|
Some of the casts I use in displays at fairs and exhibitions are early ones of my kids. I've been thinking for a while about making copies of them in case anything happened. Never got round to it and one was damaged today!! Not too bad and should repair easily but now I need to get copies made.
The casts are painted and finished with a polyurethane varnish. Can I make silicone rubber molds of them and if so what kind of release agent should I use?
Many thanks
Dean
