Topic Subject : Re: Re: vacuum pump for air traps in finger tips??

Dear Dave,
thank you for your still detailed response !!! My expectations of a vacuum pump were totally illusionistic then... I am actually using Artestone for casting - unfortunately the viscosity promotes air traps. I am in Germany and don't know what FG Forton is called here and where to look for it.
My alternative idea is a centrifuge. It worked perfectly with casting silver. Do you have any experience or advise on how beneficial the use of a centrifuge would be in the case of air traps in the hand castings ?
To make 2 molds for small castings like hands will increase the price too much I think.
The photo (hopefully) attached shows a recent piece. The position of the small finger and the ring finger are borderline for a major air trap. This problem is really limiting me in with my work.... :-((((

So mastering it will set me free !!!!!!!!!

Viele Grüße,
Adele
