Topic Subject : Baby castings!! |
|
Hi again,
I would like some advice on the baby castings, I have numerous casts and the one thing I always struggle with is the container and making sure the kids foot or hand does not hit the sides. I have tried putting the alginate in a bag and then inserting the hand or foot but it did not work as well but the kids scream alot more when I have to hold the leg or arm still with a bit of force. Also the alginate sets too fast and not sure if I am making it too thick or too warm. I am using the alginate from tomps and sometimes it seems to have a mind of its own. I am juts trying to perfect the baby casts at this stage as I am fine with the rest for now..Any help will be appreciated.
