I took the primary mold of his left hand with alginate and cast it in hydrocal. I will make a silicone mold and then make copies in cold-cast bronze.
We had to elevate his hand slightly because it did not bend at the wrist and we could not lay his hand flat on a table. The resulting cast in just the top half of his hand as it was resting on a soft pad.
