Actually, I usually use just copper powder with either Forton MG or urethane resin. I think the copper powder produced a more realistic bronze look than bronze. It seems to me that bronze powder makes the casting too dark. Also, I have found the castings made with copper powder react more intensely than to patina solutions than do ones made with bronze powder.
I will try to remember to experiment with copper and brass powders in Forton MG tomorrow and post the results.
