One of the great difficulties I have in operating this site is to refrain from commercialization. As you know I manufacture and sell mold making materials. Yet, it is important that the site is not considered to be my soap box for the commercial side of my life. In that way you can trust what we say as being unbaised.
Such is with the case with the recent workshop schedules which are sponsored by Dick Blick Art Materials for their customers. I struggled about whether announcing these workshops to members would be in violation of my vow to keep the commercial side off the ALI Forum. Thus, my delay in announcing.
Since these are rudimentary workshops primarily for demonstration of materails, they may be over instructive for the average ALI member. My thought was that if an ALI member was in the area drop in and say hello.
So sorry if I offended anyone be short notice. It was meant to do the opposite
I have a more robust workshop schedule is in the works at our studio for December that you might wish to note. I'll have the days of the month shortly. We are planning three days by the way. That what it takes to really get your hands dirty and walk away confident that you can do it, too.
In the meantime tomorrow I will be spreading the good word to newbies that have never heard about ALI and lifecasting. So like Johnnie Appleseed I'll do my best for you all.
Warmest regards,
Ed McCormick
