I wanted this peice to resemble overlapping sheets of hammered metal; hence the title "Hammered".
It is fiberglass. I used an automotive primer that is made for fiberglass then added a bit of texture with gesso. The finish is Sculpt Nuveau metallic paint with a varity of different patinas to reach the desired look.
