Hello ALI Members,
As many of you know, and as witnessed by an increasing number of frustrated unsubscribe requests and ineffective instructions in every mail, this forum is getting old and outdated.
A lot has happened in forum technology since this was built, and I humbly request we move to a platform that can keep the liveliness of our forum, while maintaining the integrity of the ALI brand and it's members.
This is an ALI board decision, but I want to put it out there to the group: Does anyone else want to move server costs, user administration, password management, photo/file management, email options, calendars, and other non-ALI tasks onto a more mainstream forum platform?
Here's some suggestions: Yahoo Groups, Google Groups, Facebook Pages.
I know this stuff doesn't happen by magic, and will volunteer to work with the ALI board to make this happen.
Lifecasting is a passion for me, and the ALI community is important. It's sad to see frustrated emails like John's when I know there's a better way.

REMINDER: to UNSUBSCRIBE or change how you receive forum messages you must log on to ALI using your user name and password. You will then click on the link in the upper right of the page titled: Edit Information. Once on that page scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will see three radio buttons providing you a choice of: Receive a posting when its made / Receive a summary of postings once a day / Receive no postings. Select the appropriate one for you and then click Save. Your changes are now made.
ALI is an international organization whose members are engaged in the art and creative industries. Its purpose is to promote the art of life casting, create public awareness of this unique art form, provide its members with forums to exchange information, resources to enhance their effectiveness and advance opportunities for their artistic success.
