I mentioned in my early morning email about thinning gesso before
brushing. If you are doing lots of priming it would be more cost effective to buy a
spray gun with the correct tip(s) and cut the cost of "spray cans" and
have more control over consistency, color, etc. and also your final finishes
to make the casting look like real metal!
I like the idea of clear gesso under iridescent color's too.
