Dean, when I started using Forton MG 20 some odd years ago, it was called Jesmonite here in the States and the name was changed. Hiram would have to confirm it, but it is my understanding that they are the same. MG wouldn't work in the UK because of Morris Garage... (There are lots of us old guys who still have a love affair with British sports cars.)
By the way, I know of five Forton MG copycats available but all have one thing in common, they are all way more expensive. The Smooth On one mentioned by Clay is probably the least expensive! Forton MG, as far as I know is still the best deal out there for what it will do. I use resins, bronze, clear acrylics, pewter, etc. but Forton MG is what I use the most.
