I have a bag of FGR-95 that is approaching 20 years old and it is
still OK. It all depends on how it's stored. USG will not guarantee
anything but a minimal shelflife since conditions vary widely.
USG used to have reps who would visit users and advise us on things
we might try. Then they'd prevail on the company to send a couple of
sacks of this or that to your local distributor. Those reps, those
days, are gone. The authority at USG you'll call is Loren Miller. As
much as USG has lowered service, Georgia-Pacific is far worse. Their
products are misty myths to me.
I'd had no idea the dental plaster set so fast, that is tempting.
