Topic Subject : Can I rescue a vintage cast? |
|
I have a series of my pregnancy casts that are now over 6 years old. They were my first torso casts and it didn't take long to realise my beginners error. They don't have embeded strings to hang them. I would love to hang them to display them, but if I add more layers of plaster they will crack. Does anyone know a way I can save them? They range from bump and hands, to full torso. I need to make some space by hanging them.
Could I add a layer of fibreglass/ resin or something to the back?? I don't want to experiment and ruin them.
I hope someone can help.
Thanks,
Rachel
