I just read John's advice which is excellent as usual and realized that I forgot one thing. Anytime you get cloth wet, it may tend to stretch. Bras usually hold their shape pretty well but you may ask the subject to bring a pair of panties which are a size smaller than normal.
Also, material that has no fuzz will work better than, say, the kind of material that mens tighty whities and tee shirts are made of. Lace is not a problem and makes great contrasting textures on the castings.
