Topic Subject : Re: Underwear and alginat |

I have done a few casts wherby the model wanted clothes on. I have even used the silicones for this process. With the new release agents available for the silicones, it does not stick to the cloth either, but I still coat it with the Queen Helene hair conditioner and it releases like a breeze. Never had any problems at all using this method. It is still better to do an alginate cast first, make sure the piece is free of defects and then create a rubber afterwards. Sure its a bit longer of a process but it is more efficient in the long run. The only exception is if you are wanting to do a simple piece that does not have any undercuts, etc and can get a pretty clean silicone pull--then you should be ok.
Good Luck!!
