John
Could you please let me know what you mean by plastalina and semi hard eurathane. Which actual make you use. I have only used clay for sculptures and for lifecasting I have always cast plaster out of the alginate.
If I used the plastilina and then make a silcone mould from that, would I be able to melt the plastilina out of the mould so I could then cast in bronze resin?
The reason I ask is that I want to do some very complex hand castings and the only way I can see of doing it, is to get to the point of casting the bronze resin and then cutting the silicone mould off that. I can't see a way of doing it with a plaster mould as I wouldn't be able to get to all the internal parts of the plaster to seal it before putting in the resin.
thanks
Ann
