Thanks for the invite Oliver
Interesting vid loved the music and it gave me a link to other utube vids including Edds "what is lifecasting" which I really enjoyed its a very well put piece on the subject
One thing I would say is there was a lot of dust when you put your electric mixer in the alginate, I have students and I always advise them to wear a dust mask as the only thing that should go in your lungs is good fresh air
also I put dry bandage on the wet alginate this the sticks to both the alginate and the wet bandage if the edges flap I use supa glue
I also like the working relationshipyou had with your model
Keep up the good work you made it look fun
John

------------Silica-Free & Oh So GREEN------->
NEW! MoldGel SILFREE. A revolutionary formula.
Made with all food-grade ingredients. It nourishes
the earth when discarded. 3-to-1 mix ratio yields
twice the volume as those 1-to-1 brands. Delayed
shrinkage for delayed casting - so creamy smooth, too.

Short video clip:--
Dear all
I had some fun making a small video illustrating the molding and casting of a torso... I'll be keen to receive feedback, comments and cristicisms from fellow bodycasters.
Watch it on:

I know Dave will say that I should be using cheesecloth and dental plaster for the mother mold but I have trouble getting the cloth to embed itself in my alginate....
Thanks
Olivier
