Topic Subject : Re: latex moulds

Why would you be using latex rather than silicone RTV mold material? Latex
shrinks within a short time and requires multiple coats to create a mold?
The cost is less but far inferior to silicone. Your molds are breaking down.
Switch to silicone rubber. Silicones Inc. has several great compounds with
great library life. I have several silicone molds that are over 25 years
old and still able to pull wax patterns from them. Time to switch.
