Hi Dave
Thanks so much for your compliment it sent a shiver up my spine, it means a lot to me Dave.
I live in what could be described as one of the most remote places on the planet in the Southwest of Western Australia.
My contact with artists is very limited in deed. So it is in wonderful to get an email like this from a person of your standing and high regard.
I just thought everyone was away on summer holidays which is what happened when I sent a piece in last August.
It is really nice to have some say what you have as its kind of some measure of pay back for the cold nights, endless sanding and revisions.
The sculpture was originally meant to be a master for a mold so I had built in separation walls into the edge of dress and drapery around the arms. This was very tricky and of course extended the build time. In the end all had to change because of time and funding.
She would be wonderful in bronze.
The job turned into a personnel journey as so many other projects but this was special working in an ancient ,material.
Thanks again Dave.
Kim
