Topic Subject : Body Double on Hair |
|
Well, I have been working with my local Smooth -on distributor here in Michigan-- TSP Plastics and we tried the new additive for the Body Double to see if it would release from hair. It is an additive called Hyper-Folic. You can use different ratios. I tried it at a 40-100 ratio and at a 20-100 ratio. It worked great both times. No sticking to hair at all. I applied it directly to my arm and it came right off. It increases the set time slightly, but other than that I see no other effects. I am going to try it on my face and I have a full goatee and we will see what happens. I used no release creme or agents at all and there was no problem. You simply add it to the standard A-B mixture in the proper ratio. Cost wise I think it may be a bit less expensive than the Mouldlife product, but the drawback is that you have to mix it where you dont with the Mouldlife product. You just simply apply and go.
Ill post more as I go along!!
