Topic Subject : Re: guitar player's hand

Thanks for all the replies.
Dan : It had just occurred to me that I really should practice before I do the real thing, now where did my husband go??

Robert : Lovely Idea to get a real bronze done, unfortunately I think that's not an option as I am not doing this as a commission from him. It's more a favour from him to me via a mutual friend. I don't yet know if he will let me do it and I also don't yet know if he will let me use the life casting to promote my life casting services. But it will still be a valuable experience if I get to do it. Thanks for offering to cast it for me, I may well take you up on that in the future.

Mathew: Could you expain a little more about your box with holes I don't quite understand. I have done a handshake where I had a box with the top cut off and holes in the side. Then inserted a plastic bag in the box. Put holes in that to fit to the holes in the box, positioned the models throught the plastic bag and the holes in the box and then taped the bag to their arms. Then I was able to fill the box with alginate over their handshake from the top.
