Good luck with your new business. I am in the same position, just starting to turn ilife casting into a full time business.
I took a look at your web site and if your marketing material is worded in a similar way then, to me, it does seem to refer to sculpture quite a lot and does not really describe what life casting is. Maybe that is why your potential customers are not sure of what you can offer.
I'm no writer (I dare say lots of stuff on my site could be written a lot better) but it may be an idea to take a look at other lifecasting sites and see how they have written about their service. Some have gone into amazing detail which I have found very helpful
The other thing I am going to do is approach maternity units, to see if I can leave some examples with them for the new mothers to see. Also mother and baby groups, nurseries and schools might be interested in promoting your service if you give them commission. Someone suggested to me to try to link up with a local photographer so you can promote each others business.
I am taking a stall at the local school fete this weekend to try to get people in my area aware of my life casting business. I will give a discount for bookings I get there and also offer to give the school a donation for every fulfilled order( I will have already paid for my table).
