Tri, have you tried Forton MG? It is very versatile, water soluble, odorless, nontoxic, easy to mix and apply, etc., etc. It is so strong that I make mother molds of it as thin as 1/8 inch and a life cast torso in Forton MG need only be no more than 1/4 inch. I have been using it for around 20 years both for life castings and traditional sculpting. A great deal of what I have done, I could not have done without it.
