Thanks for all the suggestions on how to mix alginate. I started with exact measurements but the alginate was too thick so I had to add more water, but all worked out ok. I got a good casting of my husband and son doing a hand shake althought I have to think of a better mould for the alginate - I would be very grateful for any suggestions
