Topic Subject : RE: A new topic has been added-Re: forum bug

Well since it is being talked about. There is another Lifecasting forum on
yahoo groups.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/lifecasting/
It is older than aliforum and has a lot of the same members (369 members in
all). But most people have been posting under aliforum the last couple of
years.
The only reason I toss this group into the messages is that I don't see a
need to start another group when there is one that is already established.
This forum set up by Ed of ArtMolds has been a great asset for lifecasters
and I would hate to see it disappear. So give him an opportunity to get the
bugs fixed.

Good lifecasting to you all.
Chris

------------Silica-Free & Oh So GREEN------->

NEW! MoldGel SILFREE. A revolutionary formula.
Made with all food-grade ingredients. It nourishes
the earth when discarded. 3-to-1 mix ratio yields
twice the volume as those 1-to-1 brands. Delayed
shrinkage for delayed casting - so creamy smooth, too.

Re: forum bug:--
The problem is the forum software doesn't return the page until all emails
have been sent. With a large list (and some out of office replies), this
can take a long time.

Two ways to fix this are 1) Allow the page to draw before all emails are
sent, and/or 2) While waiting, tell the user NOT to hit submit again.

It would be very nice to make one or both of these changes to the forum.
It's *so* easy these days to start a new yahoo or google group, that it's
probably worth doing.

....and to show that there's times I'm not a geek, check out the attached
picture of my favorite hobby.

ALI is an international organization whose members are engaged in the art
and creative industries. Its purpose is to promote the art of life casting

create public awareness of this unique art form, provide its members with
forums to exchange information, resources to enhance their effectiveness and
advance opportunities for their artistic success.
