hi i have tryed all sort of resin with alginat and most have not worked , resin and water are not frends. if you want to make resin hand's you have to go the silicon why, the resin do not set in alginat , silicon are more expensef but the end produte is very good.
the only resin i can think of is casting resin ( poly basted ) or cristal clean from smooth-on. take a look at there wedsite www.smoth-on.com there is a how to do page that will be of help to you.
