I am a teacher trying to figure this out:
I mixed 6 c water 3 c lifecast powder 1 c artcast cement and stirred. It was very lumpy even though I wisked it with an afro comb for 2 min. My daughter put her hand in the 2 lt. bottle with velcro attached on the inside. It didn't seem to be doing anything so she took her hand out after 6 min or so. Then we added 2 more cups of the artcast and it seemed to work fine.
I added 2 cups plaster mixed 1 cup of water and poured it in.
Next day it was still oozing slightly on the bottom. When we peeled away the green outer part it sort of fell off in a wet way and the fingers came with it. They were not shaped right at the tips and the whole thing is covered in bubble bumps. I know IT LOOKS AWFUL!
My daughter is trying to get a portfolio together for a magnet art high school so I need help asap!
What did I do wrong?
Can someone help me with my measurements, etc??? I need 6 c of solution and 1 c of plaster.
