Liability insurance is extremely expensive if you can get it - premiums can
run in excess of ,000. We have been quoted up to ,000 a year for such
a policy - think mal practice, doctor.
You should always have a signed model release. That is the most inexpensive
insurance you can have. Download the release from the ALI library.
Underwriters cringe when they find you are applying material to naked skin
no matter how benign the material and how skilled the artist.

------------Silica-Free & Oh So GREEN------->
NEW! MoldGel SILFREE. A revolutionary formula.
Made with all food-grade ingredients. It nourishes
the earth when discarded. 3-to-1 mix ratio yields
twice the volume as those 1-to-1 brands. Delayed
shrinkage for delayed casting - so creamy smooth, too.

In the US, some home owners insurance can cover it. Other than that I don't
know but I'd really like to see what other say.

Insurance:--
Dear All
I was wondering if anyone can help me.
I am trying to get some public liability Insurance for my business and due
to
the nature of my work, and the fact that most insurers have no idea what
lifecasting is, I am having difficulty in getting anyone to quote me.
I don't really want to have to bother with Insurace, I don't need it for
most of
my work, but I have been offered work in premises which are insisting I am
covered while I work with them. I am guessing I won't get Insurance for any
of
my other work as that is mostly visiting peoples homes and seams to be the
main
problem with the policy.
I was wondering if anyone else has any cover for the work they undertake
and if
so where you purchased it from? I am based in the UK, which could make a
diffrence to the policy I can get.
Regards
Helen
