Mr. Oblon may be right or your urethane resin could just be old. It could
also be that it is pulling moisture out of the plaster. Polyurethane and
water do not work together. I would never cast resin into any mold not made
of silicone rubber (and I never use a release with urethanes, they just
cause problems). We have also experienced a bad batch of resin that acted
just like you describe. It's taken two years for them to stop seeping.
Smooth-On had recalled it, but didn't get it all back from their
distributors.
