Well said john, I'm all for safety too!
You can NEVER take a chance with a model, I'd rather loose detail than a model!
I use a little Nevia cream when I did Aginate castings. It just smoothens the skin enough so the Alginate doesn't get fussy with the fine hairs or dry skin.
