This was an interesting subjet to bring back, and yes it will be back again with a new generation of casters.
One last thing, I use BodyDouble cream when casting with BodyDouble silicone, it does not get absorbed into the skin like Nivia or Vaseline does.
I know it's dificult to remove from the skin but a simple way to remove The BD cream is to use a make-up remover like Neutrogena (an excellent brand), they even come in a small package with pre-moistened towellets, you only need two or three towellets to clean off a face. Works fast too. Regular make-up remover works too.

As for shaving my own back, I simply duck-tape a disposable razor to a tree and... oh, never mind...
