Topic Subject : Re: Re: A new topic has been added-Polyurethane molds |

Thanks Robert,
I do have quite a bit of it left so I can make it as thick as I need it. I
did tell the person at the local foundry what I wanted it for and she gave
me poly74-20 and said I can do both types of moulds with it. Instead of a
box, I taped duck tape to the inside edges of the mould to catch the
dripping compound, it also has helped to give me a perfect edge when I do
finally get to using the mould.
Can I use the drippings (partially cured) to fill in the deep undercut?
So my usual plaster and cheese cloth mother mold will do. I was hoping that
someone could give me pointers on how I make sure that the mother mould is
correct, because like you said it would be a big waste of time if I don't do
that correctly.
