Topic Subject : Hand casting for Hospice |
|
Hi all,
This is the first time I have written to the forum, but I enjoy reading the postings from all of you! I have learned so much from you! All of your tips have helped me develop my skills in Life casting. I cast mostly hands for Hospice patients and their families. I rarely get a second chance to re-cast the hands! The families are so appreciative of the service I provide to them! It warms my heart and gives me a sense of peace. You see, my daughter died of brain cancer 2 years ago, April 4th. Thank God I had the foresight to do a casting of my 3 children together, before her passing. This casting is one of my most precious possessions. I encourage all of you to take a small amount of time and materials to do the same in your geographical area! You will receive 10 fold back from what you give!!!
I am so impressed with the mold gel that I received from Art molds!!! I was using an alginate from another source prior to this. The details from mold gel are far superior to the other product. I would not have known about this product without all of you sharing your experiences!! THANK YOU!!!
I am enclosing a picture of one of my most recent works. The details are incredible!!! Thank you again for allowing me to learn from you in this craft!
Very sincerely,
Susan Swartz
